CHOICE OF LIVESTOCKInitial livestock is added after a minimum period of 10 days from installation to allow the aquarium to mature. This level is gradually increased over a period of 2-3 months so that livestock levels reach desired capacity as the tank fully matures.
For customers who wish to create a saltwater aquarium 'look' on a budget, a tank can be set up to give the appearance of a marine tank using coral sand, blue lighting and specialised tropical fish to great effect.
A marine aquarium takes at least 6 months to reach maturity and is not a process which can be rushed. But with the right amount of patience, care and attention, the end result is spectacular and well worth the wait.
